As a Parent, Grandparent, Aunt or Uncle, somehow we feel that we can control how the children in our lives present themselves to the outside world. We can't. We want kids to do things that help the grownups to look better in the world. Sometimes, we become stuck in the blame/shame game.
I believe that dragonflies can show us the way to help our children shine with wonder and light in their environment. I have guided parents for the past thirty years in parenting education. I draw upon my roles as both mother and grandmother, therapist and healer and mother and daughter. I hope that you will enjoy these blogs as much as I love being a parent and grandparent. All of the art unless otherwise noted is created by me.

Blame/ Shame Game
